Role Overview




  • We are seeking a Growth Associate with a strong focus on B2B sales and partnerships. This role will primarily focus on building, managing, and growing relationships with HMOs, hospitals, and other healthcare providers, driving adoption of Pharmarun’s solutions, and supporting our GMV and user growth objectives.

  • The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about healthcare transformation in Africa.



Key Responsibilities




  • Drive new business acquisition with HMOs, hospitals, and corporate clients, delivering on quarterly revenue and user growth targets.

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for B2B accounts, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

  • Support integration and onboarding of new HMO and hospital partners into the Pharmarun ecosystem.

  • Work closely with operations and finance to ensure smooth service delivery for B2B partners.

  • Monitor and report key partner metrics (e.g., number of active users, claims processed, order volumes).

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing partners to increase engagement and revenue.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategy.

  • Prepare and deliver proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective partners.

  • Collaborate with growth leadership on campaigns, pilots, and product feedback from partners.



Requirements




  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales (healthcare/insurance/healthtech background is strongly preferred).

  • Proven experience working with HMOs, hospitals, or B2B healthcare clients.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, claims, and billing processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.

  • Tech-savvy; comfortable using CRM tools (Zoho/Hubspot), MS Office/Google Suite.

  • A self-starter with resilience and persistence to close deals in a challenging market.
